Maharshi Sambamurty Residential School for the Physically Challenged Girls was started by Maharshi Sambamurthy Institute of Social and Development Studies (Regd), Kakinada, during the year 1993 as one of its projects. The school is recognized by the Department of Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, from the 1st to the 10th Class, with Telugu as the medium of instruction. The School has its own spacious three storied building built over a 2,800 sq. yards vacant site taken on long lease. It has a well equipped science laboratory and is also provided with ample facilities for play, recreation and for other extra-curricular activities of the school girls. All donations are exempt under section 80(G) of Income Tax Act.
